I spent the first part of my life in Denver, Colorado as an ambulance driver, an air traffic controller, and a stockbroker. I moved to Southern California to continue my work as an air traffic controller. While in Southern California, I was also the owner of an executive search firm and a championship college coach. As I grew older, I decided that since I like to take a drive when I want to relax and I like to travel and see new places, I would enjoy driving a big truck all over America. I spent 40 years in Southern California but when I retired, Myrna and I decided we wanted to live in Western South Dakota where most of her family was located.

| I was born and raised in Deadwood, SD and Myrna was born and raised in Lemmon, SD. We dated while we attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD. Several years later, I moved to Denver, CO and joined the Air National Guard to become an air traffic controller. Myrna graduated college and became a high school science teacher. Thirty-eight years later, on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2004, I called her and on St. Patrick's Day, on March 17, 2004, I proposed. In June, we met for the first time to try on our wedding rings and on August 15, 2004, we got married in Las Vegas on her birthday. I even got a daughter, Kenna, in the bargain. Myrna was that long-legged, blonde, green-eyed cheerleader who almost got away.

I was 45 years old and had never seen the inside of a big truck until I was hired by J. B. Hunt and arrived at their driving school in 1990. I drove for J. B. Hunt in order to learn the trucking business and then started my own trucking company. I formed my corporation, received my operating authority, purchased a new tractor and trailer, and began operating as "CAL NIKONT ENTERPRISES, Inc." I received my last speeding ticket in 1976.

Permit Services, Poy Sippi, WI, is responsible for obtaining permits, registration, licenses, trip reporting, fuel reporting, and log book checking.
